Strength in Community 

It’s our goal to seek funding not from banks or government entities, but as a truly grassroots effort. We are unequivocally for the community, and we want to be by the community as well: not for Angel Investors, not for Banks, not for wealthy people who think a restaurant would be quaint way to woo their friends. We are therefore launching a campaign with NuMarket to get our upfront startup costs to secure our space, obtain licensure, and get us off the ground.

NuMarket isn’t just asking you for your hard earned money. It matches your contribution by 120% in credits to be used in House of Bridges. Use them to buy concert tickets, book an event, grab a snack on your way to work, or join us for brunch/dinner.

Our barebones goal is 25k, which would cover our first months rent, security deposit, licensure, and a chunk of our opening product. Any amount beyond that will help us deliver a product closer to the finished vision, including sound equipment for performances, finishing space within the building to provide overflow seating for guests, and ensure that we can hit the ground running.
